2 Deals This Morning: Equity Office & NDAQ - LSE

Two deals of interest this morning. The NASDAQ deal is not definitive.

Blackstone buying Equity Office for $19billion (excluding debt)

"When including debt, the deal is valued at $36 billion, which tops the previous biggest leveraged buyout under this measure -- the $33 billion buyout of hospital operator HCA Inc. earlier this year. Excluding debt, the HCA deal was worth $21 billion."

NASDAQ ups its offer for the London Stock Exchange to $5.1 billion.

"New York-based Nasdaq offered 1243 pence ($23.56) a share, the minimum bid it could make under City of London takeover rules, compared to Friday's closing price of 1218 pence."
