Good to know about Boutique investment bank, which may have great talent, but they are likely to have small balance sheets. Boutique is a small firm providing services of investment banking.
Thanks for you information.
Boutique investment banks commonly work for middle market and lower middle market companies where underwriting simply is not a part of the business. The niches are small and placement is difficult. There is no "clearing the market". Middle market companies hire a boutique investment bank because it is hard to do the transaction.
